Excellent after market holder, works great

Excellent after market holder, works great
Can be used for any shotgun with a normal stock, which is great. After installing, it is very stout and very secure. The stock I have is synthetic and thinner when I drilled it than I was expecting. I worried that the thin stock wouldn’t allow it to secure well but it is rock solid. The holder is flexible but holds the shells very tight. It’s slippery enough to be able to pull them out with ease but not so much that they’ll fall out. They will have to be pulled or pried out, they will not fall out.The directions say you can use only the corner screws but I would and did use all six to make it tight. It includes six screws.I used the included template but three of the holes didn’t line up after I drilled them. I was not happy. Had to re-drill three holes and now I have three extra holes. It’s a cheap shotgun so not worried about it. So don’t use the template for all six holes or all four holes depending on how secure you make it.Instead, use the template for either the top row or the bottom row but not both. After you Mark one of the rows, drill them with 7/64 bit and install the screws. Then your remaining row can be drilled with the holder in place. Then install the remaining screws. If you use the template for all the holes you’ll be off like I was. Just use the template for only one row.I didn’t knock off a star because, except for that issue, it is really great and you’ll like it’s function on your shotgun. I have full faith in it after handling and putting it through some use.
