the interior of the beltloop is a rigid 2.5 inches, so i couldnt get the buckle of my 2.25 inch belt through. but it has grommets right where you need them. so one could fasten it to a belt or anything else with some paracord, wire, or chicago screws. its nice to find a high quality tool. and treated well, this one will last a lifetime. 5 stars
The sheath has a couple plusses and minuses that I hadn't read yet in the reviews. First off, the minuses: it's a left handed sheath. Meaning that if you wore it on your right hip, you'd draw it out with the blade edge facing upwards. If this were a fighting knife, that'd be fine - but as a chopper machete ??
On the other hand, despite being Chinese made, the stitching looks pretty solid and it's got a loop for a belt as well as a snapping Molle-style strap to mount to a Molle pack.
Overall though, a solid buy for 60 dollars.
Razor back needs help.
I bought one. Then bought one for a friend. So that's saying something.
Baton, chop, cut, saw.... Need a file for saw.
It's great, I love it, gifted a friend one.
If I'd ever have to buy another I would.
But this beast is a generational piece.
Pairs well with my sp-1c

The blade is very sharp at delivery and 1/4 inch wide so very sturdy for hard work.
Best use appears to be light branch removal and quartering. The SP8 also can pry with its sturdy design.
I ended up needing to return this because a longer blade was needed for my purposes.
It is VERY nice and I wish it did what I needed.

there is significant feedback in the handle if you chop in the middle of the blade - it chops best when you use the blade close to the tip.
handle fits my hands very well (Large sized glove) - came sharp enough to remove arm hair.
its a very thick bevel, thicker than an axe. I'm going to reprofile it to a convex edge so it chops better.
sheath is your standard form OKC - nylon/cordura. not fantastic...but not terrible either.
