The 6.5 Creedmoor caliber was released in 2007 as a match round. It was designed to be extremely accurate and powerful, and it has recently gained major popularity as a hunting caliber.

Federal tops each 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge with a 140 Grain soft point (SP) projectile. The soft point has a copper jacket that leaves the top of the lead core exposed to promote rapid expansion. As the projectile transfers large amounts of energy to the target, the SP mushrooms into a terminally effective wrecking ball that damages soft tissue.

These affordable hunting cartridges are loaded into new brass casings. The casings are non-corrosive, Boxer-primed, and reloadable.
