This ammunition is perfect for precision shooters with 6.5mm Creedmoor rifles who want to achieve sub-MOA groups at long distances without investing into a reloading setup. Federal's Gold Medal line has long been a go-to choice for pinpoint accuracy and diehard reliability due to meticulous component selection; components include reloadable brass casings that have been checked over for consistent dimensions and non-corrosive Boxer primers that exhibit reliable function when struck. Federal fills the case with a measure of powder that has been specifically chosen for this ammo and engineered for impressive ballistic performance out of both factory and custom rifles.

Topping off this load is a 130-grain open tip match (OTM) projectile from Berger's Hybrid line. Berger has been around since 1955 and is internationally respected among competitive sharpshooters due to their exceptional bullet quality. Their Hybrid projectile features a lead core of undisturbed density contained within a copper jacket with near-perfect concentricity. The bullet's body has an elongated boat tail, a flat bearing surface (middle body), and secant ogive which all contribute to incredible stability and uniform flight characteristics. Berger suggests that this weight of 6.5mm Creedmoor bullet be combined with a 1:8 twist rate for optimal results.
