Each bullet in this box weighs 220 grains, so it is hefty enough to make a proper subsonic load. The bullet’s lead core is swaged for uniform weight distribution, and then electroplated with an intensely concentric copper jacket. The electroplating process ensures 100 percent of the bullet’s surface area is jacketed, so you don’t have to worry about propellant gasses deforming the bullet’s base or emitting aerosolized lead right next to your face. Once they are electroplated, Berry’s restrikes every bullet to ensure it adheres to strict specs, has a solid core/jacket bond, and delivers impressively consistent ballistic performance.
This bullet has an OAL of 1.350". Berry’s does not recommend it for barrels with a faster rate of twist than 1:7. Berry’s also advises not exceeding a maximum muzzle velocity of 1,300 fps, as a greater rate than that may separate the jacket from the core.
