If you have an AR-15, you can simply unscrew the flash hider from the muzzle. For other types of firearms, you may need to use a punch or drift pin to drive out the retaining pin that Holds the flash hider in place. Once the retaining pin is removed, you should be able to unscrew the flash hider by hand. If you are having difficulty removing the flash hider, you can try using a pair of pliers or a wrench to help loosen it.
