Smith & Wesson Model 41 grip question. Can I Use PC Model 41 grips for a standard model? Can you recommend some grips for me?
Generally speaking, yes. The grips that come with a Model 41 should fit any other gun in the same family. There may be some guns that are slightly different, but for the most part, you should be able to interchange grips between different weapons models.
There are a few reasons why you might want to change the grips on your gun. Maybe you don’t like the way they look or feel, or maybe you want to add a custom touch to your weapon. Some people also swap out grips to better suit their shooting style. No matter what your reasons are, it’s relatively easy to do and shouldn’t take more than a few minutes.
To change grips, first, make sure that the GUN is unloaded and the safety is on. Next, locate the screw that holds the grip in place (it’s usually located under the trigger guard). Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the grip and pull it off. Take your new grips and line up the holes with the screw before tightening them in place. That’s it! You’ve now successfully changed the grips on your gun.
