A compensator is a device attached to the muzzle of a gun that redirects propellant gases to counter recoil and unwanted rising of the barrel during firing. This effectively reduces muzzle rise and helps keep the barrel down on target for faster follow-up shots.
To clean your compensator, start by removing it from the gun. Then, use a brush or pipe cleaner to clean out any dirt or debris that may be inside. Finally, use a spray lubricant to coat the inside and outside of the compensator. Reattach it to the gun and you’re good to go!
