Thanks for the question! Here’s how to remove the a2 flash hider:
- First, make sure your firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.
- Next, locate the two set screws on the bottom of the muzzle device. These screws secure the A2 flash hider to the muzzle threads. With a properly sized Allen wrench, loosen these screws until they are no longer snug against the flats of the flash hider body. Do not remove these screws entirely; finger-tighten them for later reinstallation after removal of the device.
- Now that the set screws are loosened, you can unscrew the A2 flash hider from the muzzle threads. With the flash hider removed, inspect the crown of your barrel for any damage. If there is none, you can re-install the flash hider by screwing it back onto the muzzle threads and tightening the set screws.
