I’m new to the gun maintenance thing. Should I oil the inside of my gun barrel? It is safe to Oil in a barrel before shooting?

There is no right or wrong answer to this question – it all depends on the individual gun and the type of oil being used.
Some gun enthusiasts believe that oiling the barrel is essential to keep it in good condition, while others say that it’s not necessary and can even lead to malfunctions. In general, a light coat of oil is probably better than a heavy one, and you should avoid getting any oil near the firing pin or breech. As always, consult your gun’s owner’s manual for specific instructions.
