Hey
I am looking into new Choke tubes for my Stoeger M3500. What would you guys recommend?
Thanks!
As far as I know, the Stoeger M3000 should take choke tubes that fit the Benelli Supernova, which has the same thread pattern. I’m not 100% sure on this, so you might want to double-check with a gunsmith or someone more knowledgeable than me. But if that’s the case, there are several different choke tubes available on the market that should fit your gun.
For example, I like the Trulock Chokes brand. They make a variety of different choke tubes for all sorts of different guns, and their customer service is excellent. I’m sure there are other brands out there that make good quality choke tubes as well, so you might want to do some research and see what other people are saying.
In terms of what choke tube to get, that depends on what kind of shooting you’re planning on doing. If you’re just going to be using your gun for casual target shooting or home defense, then you probably don’t need to worry too much about which choke tube you get. Just get one that’s compatible with your gun and that you feel comfortable with.
However, if you’re planning on using your gun for hunting or competitive shooting, then you’ll need to put more thought into which choke tube to get. There are a variety of different factors that you’ll need to consider, such as the type of game you’re hunting, the range at which you’ll be shooting, and your shooting style.
If you’re not sure what kind of choke tube to get, I would recommend talking to a gunsmith or someone else who is knowledgeable about these things. They should be able to help you figure out what you need.
In general, though, I would say that it’s always better to look on the side of caution when it comes to choke tubes. If you’re not sure which one to get, it’s usually better to get a more open (or less constrictive) choke tube. That way, you can always close it down if you need to, but you can’t open it up if it’s too constrictive.
I hope this helps!
